Handsome Scotsman, Stirling 30/11/2009 02:16:55           The thread is about St. Andrews Day and celebrating being Scottish. Royster, 30/11/2009 03:06:14            Torch-lit processions. Haven't we seen that somewhere before? Did they set the Mercat Cross on fire? Anna next door, 30/11/2009 03:12:04            28: Yes Stonehaven, why what were you thinking of Britnat? Dougie Douglas, 30/11/2009 03:33:21            Nice one 'The Answer" @ 26 - double fist pump stuff eh, what a complete result - isn't it marvellous to see Scotland underperforming. Slightly more on topic - I brought my Australian family to Scotland for 4 weeks in June for a bit of homecoming action. Two out of the four weeks were the most glorious weather I have ever witnessed - the Highlands in fine weather is without peer. Add to this the depth of history and culture and we have in Scotland a truely world-class tourist, ahem 'product'!. The quality of dining and food improves every year or two I return to Scotland. Two areas require improvement - accomodation and interperative facilities (for explaining our quality product). The SNP are to be congratulated on recognising this fine idea of the previous administration and supporting it. Can you image if the shoe was on the other foot?. Anyway don't let the fact that the SNP inherited this idea (and ran with it because it was in the national interest) stop all you britnats from making your usual whinging comments - 'we canny afford this', 'the nats are trying to promote a political agenda' etc etc, please continue ...
